What is SUFTO ?

Oh that's you is it OTB? I love digging those retards.

That Mat Roper is so despised he gets booted off the main Orient forum all re time for being an annoying twat with an agenda. Most O's fans don't give a shit.

Re: Petition re Stratford OS .
I'm having a great time arguing with them on SUFTO. They're STILL coming out with shit like "it's illegal because you're moving within two miles of Orient, which is against PL and FL rules".

Naturally it's not against the rules and it certainly isn't illegal.

It's not strange that a Charlton inspired initiative does not include Millwall. They dislike one another with an intensity we don't understand.

Eerie Descent and his Bermondsey Boys are involved don't you worry...

I expect a fair few Millwall have signed the petition though

Re: Petition re Stratford OS .
Strange that Millwall are not involved in this petition and they probably have just as much reason to worry about potential supporters being wooed away by the new shiny stadium, maybe because they are not whiny moaning jealous cunts?

Re: Petition re Stratford OS .
Reading that Telegraph piece the Lawrence bloke talks as if he done us a favour:

"If that had happened after they had moved out of Upton Park and that ground had been redeveloped then they would then have been in a position where they would have had to return the stadium to the authorities and they would have been homeless. So we would have lost one of our precious English football clubs. "

Funny he is now still moaning, so he didn't give a fuck after all.

Trusts from Arsenal, Chelsea, Crystal Palace, Charlton, Fulham and QPR -- as well as two clubs who failed in bids to take over the stadium in Leyton Orient and Tottenham

So it's just the London clubs who are wetting their knickers over this, nobody outside the capital could give a shit!

24k signatures is laughable and shows that nobody outside a section of fans that support those clubs could give a shit.

Well he's right, that's EXACTLY what's happening. Whether it'll turn out like that is another matter - and why I can also see us buying it in the future.

Has no one pointed out that Man City rent their stadium for £2m but have bought th enaming rights of the stadium off the council for a further £2m and are getting £40m+ a year in return....

Our deal makes us look like mugs in comparison!

But no one mentions them?

Why!?

Re: Petition re Stratford OS .
An question. How many days in each year is the Boleyn used?

I agree that within 20 or so years we will not be leasing the stadium, but will be buying it.

Ronald_antly 11:43 Fri Sep 4
Re: Petition re Stratford OS .
I was merely addressing another poster's apparent assertion that we are simply renting the stadium for a day each time we have a home fixture, as if it were available for anyone to rent when we weren't using it.

Because we're the "anchor" (and therefore most important in terms of revenue) tenant. Makes most sense to keep your most important client happy, no?

I saw Roan's twitter feed, I noticed steve lawrence was on there, he was the guy who complained about the original deal, and got it stopped, I wonder why they are so concerned? It's not just the tax thing, there must be something else going on.

Re: Petition re Stratford OS .
Within 20 years we will own the ground..

it will become so expensive to maintain the 300 + days we dont use it that we will come to an agreement to take it off their hands..
